WANGANUI - Christmas Candlelight Memorial Evening
Saturday, 02 December 2017
Yellow House, Dublin St, Aramoho Cemetery Children's Section
The Compassionate Friends Wanganui will be remembering our children at the Aramoho Cemetery Children’s Section on Saturday December 2nd 2017.
There is a glorious magnolia tree sheltering the Children’s Section of the Aramoho Cemetery. As a way of remembering our children of any age who have died too soon, we will meet there and hang wind chimes or Christmas decorations in the tree.
Come to the Yellow House Dublin St. Wanganui for our usual monthly coffee at 11 am Saturday 2nd December, then at 11.40ish we will drive to the Cemetery ( we can pool cars) If you prefer you can go straight to Aramoho on Saturday 2nd or at some other time that may suit you.
Bring a Christmas decoration or wind chime or some token special to you and your child. This is a peaceful and gentle way to remember children who have gone too soon, and a special way for us to remember our own children as Christmas approaches – a time we all find difficult. All families are invited no matter where their child may be resting.
Directions : Take the first left at the Cemetery, McNeill St; then the 3rd turn right (Block 0) Drive along 1 block to the tree and wooden seat. This seat was gifted by our group years ago – a place to sit, rest and reflect .We will have a big blue sign out.
